Do you Enjoy 4WDing, Camping and Adventuring across the north of the Northern Territory. Maybe we are the club for you. The Top End 4WD club was started and run by enthusiasts, a group of people who enjoy going out and exploring what the Territory has to offer.
We promote interest in all 4WD vehicles and encourage everyone to learn where their 4WD can take you. While maintaining low impact 4WDing, to leave nature as better than we found it.
Members promote and arrange social, 4WD and camping based trips for our members. These trips vary from half day, full day, weekend getaway and occasionally multi week trips. Covering short and long range adventures.
Being in a club gives you safety of traveling in a group, confidence to try new things with people who can help guide you through. And a great way to explore areas you may not have been before.
What we get up to
What we get up to
We strive to try make the most of every long weekend in the year. Though most of the trips the club completes through the year happen between Easter and November. Due to seasonal conditions and temperatures.
Adventures into areas within the greater Darwin area include Gunn Point, Mandorah, Finnis River and Litchfield. Further out of Darwin we have enjoyed the likes of the Douglass Daily, Stray Creek, Mining region of Pine Creek.

The new block south of Adelaide River township has been purchased with the lobbying of our members. The 40,000 hectare property was purchased back for public use.
It has a history of use by Darwin locals all the way back to WW2.
This land is to be multi use by many groups. 4WDing and Camping being the ones we indulge in. But, also fishing, hunting, motorbike riding, horse riding, hiking, mountain bike riding, rock climbing.
